Ready-mix concrete production is as much art as science. Real field experience from your support team is critical to your success in the concrete trailer business. Many equipment manufacturers, anxious to sell you mixing equipment, have never operated a ready-mix business themselves. Some have sold concrete equipment before, but only the Cart-Away team brings “hands- on” experience to your business operation.
The top mixer experts are assembled to support your needs.
As the world’s largest supplier of portable concrete mixer trailers, Cart-Away has a dedicated staff of professionals to support you. From assembly to sales and to service, our employees are focused on delivering the finest quality in concrete equipment.
Scott Crist , Product Manager
Scott Crist is the most experienced portable concrete mixer expert in the business! We have nicknamed him the “Sultan of Cement”. He started his career in trailer-based concrete at the age of 20 by operating a old Sunrise plant and tub trailers. And over the next 18-years Scotty operated a B&B auger plant with tub trailers, a Cart Away wet-auger plant with mixing trailers and finally a Cart-Away dry system.
He is knowledgeable about every type of concrete plant that mixes ready-mix for trailer-deliver. He has worked behind the counter at a Landscape Center, hooked up trailers, cleaned up and repaired everything that could possibly have broken on a concrete batching system. When you have an operational question, Scotty can understand it from your prospective and help you get going fast.
Of course Scotty is also a sales person and for the past 15-years has had the responsibility to see that all preparations for your successful start-up are completed. Scotty has stood before city councils on behalf of our customers to lobby and win approval for installations. He has met with engineers to design special footing plans. And he has answered countless questions from contractors that are doing the site work for installations. Scotty is part of the extra value you receive when purchasing from Cart-Away. Others can only discount their price and leave you to your own trial and error to succeed.

Sarah Christensen, Chief Administrative Officer
After the Christensen’s purchased the business in 2016, Sarah joined the team and brought her organizational skills to the office. She has spent her career managing recreation programs for a couple of cities and three counties in California. Most of her work has been with children so she feels right at home keeping “the boys” at Cart-Away on the right track!
She and Shannon keep the office running smoothly and take care of the accounting and customer service.
When she is not at the office, she is video chatting or texting with her five grown children and 12 grandchildren…
